Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)

What is HTTP?

HTTP is a set of rules for exchanging files (namely Text, Images, Sound and Other Multimedia File) on the World Wide Web. This protocol makes the communications between your internet browser and Web Possible Servers Relative to the TCP / IP Suite of protocols (which are the basis for information exchange on the Internet), HTTP is an application protocol.

The advantage of hyper text markup language is that a hyper reference can be created such that a document can be accessed from anywhere in the world that is from another host in and network or within an organization or from host in different state or in different country. The basic constructing elements of HTML are tags and entities.

What is HTTP?;

Tags: Tags signal the browser to inform about the formatting details i.e. how the content should be displayed in the browser screen. Tags are enclosed between < and >. HTML elements are classified into two types namely based on start and end tag. 1 Standalone Tag or element 2 Container Tag or element based on having the start and end tags.

HTTP 1.0 is the first accepted version of the protocol. It uses MIME based encoding of data transfer.

Server Responds ->>>>>>>>>>>>>> User Computer, then the connection is closed.
